MKMG knows that a health problem can arise at any time. So if you regularly see one of our Internists or Pediatricians, rest assured that you are covered seven days a week - and that includes Saturday and Sunday.
Our goal
Your Internist or Pediatrician doesn't want you or a loved one to have to suffer through a long weekend, or be forced to go to the Emergency Room if you have a "moderate" health problem like a urinary tract infection, middle ear or sinus infection, bronchitis, poison ivy, lyme rash, or similar illness. On Saturday and Sunday morning, please remember to call ahead for an appointment instead of arriving unannounced.
Accordingly, if you need an Internist on Saturday, you are covered by:
- MKMG Internists (If your personal physician is on duty, he or she will see you.)
- they are available 9am to 3pm only in Mount Kisco
- after hours, the Internist on call is always available by phone to advise you.
Need an Internist on Sunday? You are covered by:
- an MKMG Internist is available 9am to 3pm for urgent appointments only, and only in Mount Kisco
- you may only make an appointment that Sunday morning
- after hours, the Internist on call is always available to advise you.
Need a Pediatrician on Saturday or Sunday?
- Three Pediatricians are available on Saturday, and one on Sunday 9am - 1pm
- After hours, a Registered Nurse will take your call. She will closely follow the Pediatrician's written procedures (or, if necessary or requested, contact the Pediatrician immediately).
