For Immediate Release MKMG Physician Collaborates with MGH on Clinical Trial The Mount Kisco Medical Group is proud to announce that Dr. Jonathan Goldberg, Medical Oncologist, participated in the first clinical trial collaboration with Massachusetts General Hospital. The study found that first-line therapy with Gefitinib (a drug given to certain cancer patients) administered to patients with advanced Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer resulted in very favorable clinical outcomes with good tolerance. The report, which Dr. Goldberg was a contributing author of, was just released online at http://jco.ascopubs.org/cgi/doi/10.1200/JCO.2007.14.8494 and will be published in the May 20, 2008 issue of the Journal of Clinical Oncology, the premier, Medical Oncology journal and official publication of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
