The Mount Kisco Medical Group and the Cancer Treatment and Wellness Cancer Center at Northern Westchester Hospital conduct clinical trials (research studies), for a variety of cancers. The goal of this research is to find better ways to treat cancer that benefit cancer patients now and in the future. Clinical trials test many types of treatment such as new drugs, new approaches to surgery or radiation therapy, new combinations of treatments, or new methods such as gene therapy. They may also be used to study new approaches for the prevention or diagnosis of cancer. All clinical trials have approval of our Institutional Review Board (IRB), a group of people that review the research to protect patient's rights. If you would like more information about one of the following clinical trials, listed by cancer site, contact Debbie Goldman Isdale, Clinical Trials Coordinator, via e-mail at dgoldman@nwhc.net or by phone at 914-666-1366, our Nurse Coordinator Charlene Wharton by phone at 914-242-1252, the Medical Director of Clinical Trials, Dr. Jonathan Goldberg or one of our other Oncologists Dr. Julie Gold, Dr. Jeffrey Halaas or Dr. Thomas Lester by phone at 914-241-1050.
